Historic Preservation Funding

GRANTS FOR NONPROFITS:

HISTORIC PRESERVATION

A compilation of web pages and books of potential interest to nonprofit organizations seeking funding opportunities related to historic preservation.

There are about a quarter that are for Michigan only - very active state, obviously. But at least half of what is left are nationally oriented and should be used if folks have a grant writer. If you don't have one, MAKE one!

I won't be posting all of the possibilities here - you'll need to go to the site itself. There are that many. Historic renovation is HARD work, but is usually required once the building is on the national registry and at least there's money available to get the work done.
